about me
Born in Stellenbosch and raised in Franschhoek, I call South Africa’s famous Cape Winelands my home. University in Stellenbosch led to an MA in International Management and an MBA cum laude. Work in the tourism and business consulting fields took me here and there, but I’ve now happily settled back in Franschhoek, where I publish the local newspaper – the Franschhoek Tatler. I’m a qualified nature guide, active in several community organisations and a town councillor in the local municipality. I get to travel from time to time, and occasionally I get around to writing about it. That’s when it ends up here! I hope you enjoy my efforts.
